I would recommend using it!
We booked the Captains Sunset Sail from Lahaina. We love Trilogy and have been on many trips with them before we were WFPB. We added a note during booking, asking for vegan options, and they were very accommodating, even though their website says that don’t have any vegan courses other than the main course. They had something prepared to serve to us for each of the five courses!
Wow! So glad we booked with Trilogy! I booked the Olowalu snorkel sail about 2 weeks prior and let them know I was vegan. For breakfast they had a delicious acai bowl ready for me that was so good I craved it even after our trip. The crew was really chill, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We actually ended up having to snorkel at Mala instead, but it was amazing and there were soooo many sea turtles and tropical fish. It was awesome that the crew told everyone to keep a respectable distance from the wildlife as well and not to touch them. They had rice, salad, and veggie skewers prepared for me for lunch which were ok.We saw lots of whales and on the way back, a whale actually came up to the boat and hung around it for a while twirling and blowing its hole at us. It was magical! Everyone else was given ice cream at the end, but no vegan option. Luckily there is a dole whip shop right around the corner at the harbor when you dock that I highly recommend!
I had a great experience snorkelling to Lana'i with Triology they were very accommodating to a vegan diet (you do have to call or email your request ahead of time). I was given an açai bowl granola for breakfast, and a salad, grilled corn on the cob, and veggie noodles combo for lunch. Super yummy!! The excursion itself is amazing as well. Definitely give this company a go!
