The restaurant seems a little more cleaning. Menu had a lot of options with the usual Korean dishes. Most of the dishes we ordered was pretty salty. Pretty tough eating the food with all that salt. Food was a bit on the pricey side.
Place is dirty service is ok I wish we never came but we are both hungry They serve you so many sides that I think unnecessary They repeat themselves what our needs but they serve it ridiculous
This place had great reviews and was very near where I was currently located and I had the cravings for Korean food. Upon arriving, I couldn 't find the Bibimbap House and found out they may have changed business name. I pulled up to this place called Korea Foody which is the same exact place. The menu was different. I was hoping to order the Dolsot Bibimbap but didn 't see that on their menu, there was only Hot Stone Bibimbap or Regular Bibimbap. I ended up ordering the Hot Stone Bibimbap, taste wise, it was okay. I thought that maybe having it on a Hot Stone dish would add a nice crispy rice touch of texture but instead the dish tasted more dry and it could 've used more flavor. I also ordered the kimchee and seafood pancakes, which were good! However it never came with any dipping sauce as I see in some of these review photos? The sides, kimchee, daikon, and sprouts were tasty! Wish there were more sides but 3 was all we got!
We were having a family dinner and the kids wanted Korean food. We decided to order take out from Bibimbap House as my Brother in Law orders from them often. I made the order about an hour before pick up and was greeted by a lady on the phone. She was really nice and even called me back to ask if it was okay to combine my orders that were doubled. Great customer service! When I got to the restaurant, I was greeted by the female who took my order. She was so nice and an older male was my cashier. Loved that he double checked the written receipt with the printed receipt. Awesome! I only waited about 5 minutes and she even taped everything down so that it wouldn't spill. The inside dining area was nice and modern looking. It appeared very clean and had a great ambiance (low light and quiet). At 530pm, there was a family of four inside and another couple waiting for their take out order. We ordered: 1. BBQ Chicken tasty 2. Kalbi tasty and cooked well 3. Chicken Katsu good amount of chicken 4. Meat Jun thinly sliced meat but good 5. Mandoo great filing and good size 6. Chap Chae yummy and mixed well 7. Dolsot Bibimbap (Vegatable) very very yummy, my favorite 8. Kimchee Pajeon (Pancake) had a crisp on it and has a little kick but so so good 9. Chajang Mien (noodle with black bean sauce) no flavor at all The food was really good and tasty. Out of all the dishes that we ordered, the only one thing that we didn't really care for was the Chajang Mien. I've had it at other places and was excited to try it but it was very bland. My favorite was the vegatarian dolsot bibimbap. The flavors were so good, you need to try it. Our total came out to $184 for the dishes we ordered. I doubled the chicken katsu, meat Jun, and mandoo as their portions are not too much. I would definitely come back and would also try to dine in, but would not order the Chajang Mien.
It's in the Waipahu neighborhood but once you walk in you are greeted by cute Korean couple. The woman was so sweet and helpful. The stone pot came out hot and made the rice crispy. The meat jun was cut into tiny pieces and you get 2 big pieces with your order. It was nice lunch spot with a couple or small group. It's easy to walk in since they have many tables open. The banchan was kimchi and radish. Support local and support the local people!
