Ko Sushi - Wakayama

The best! Real sushi! Kozushi is a traditional family run sushi restaurant that takes pride in its craft and does things the old fashioned way without cutting corners. Daichiro also happens to be the friendliest and funniest guy in Wakayama! You will have a great time!

My so far best experience in japan. had a long excellent talk with the cook, we worked hard to deal with a mix of English and Japanese, but found some excellent medium. I strongly recommend that if you really want to experience an amazing evening!

This sushi restaurant is located in near castle in not big town, but you can spend a good time with japanese typical warm atmosphere, of course, very fresh and tasty. But bit expensive.

Food was very good (sushi, tempura and soba in particular) and it is a small and cosy family run restaurant. Owners can't speak English at all but they were very friendly. No menu is available and we had fun trying to guess from the Jap words on the wall (but no stated price). That being said, it was rather expensive (we paid 7000yen per pax despite sharing most dishes between 8 of us) and probably wouldn't fine back even if we revisited Wakayama

We arrived a little early before they had opened, but the family that runs this traditional sushi restaurant was very welcoming and let us sit in the sushi bar while they were ready. the chef quickly put together a sushi box sampler of his own choice while fixing the fish for the day, and every bite was amazing! the fish was so fresh and full of taste that we were fed with luck high over this little jewel. in any case worth a visit.
