Central Fish - Wakefield

Portions were tiny and the quality of food certainly didn't make up for it. OAP's filled up the tables inside and I suppose that's who the portions were aimed at. Not worth going to, AVOID

I'm so happy to see fish and chips making its way to the top of the take-out list in England again, and this is one of the places that helped i'm sure. Fresh haddock, hand cut chips skillfully fried and served hot with choices of...sauces. Lashes of salt and vinegar is my recommendation. Couple of chairs and tables to sit and enjoy your food, or sit outside on the bench and have them the good old British way. Very nice staff, we met the owner who has been cooking them for years in the same traditional manner, so if your travels ever bring you to Ossett, please stop in and enjoy a taste of Great Britain, with bits on!

In recent weeks I have visited three fish and chip shops in the area looks like I saved the best until the last the batter was light crispy and tasty no sign of sogginess here the haddock was fresh white meaty and tasty chips ...nicely cooked no grease they do a small portion of fish and chips to eat in or takeaway highly recommend thank you everyone

I think this business must of recently changed hands.. Because I visited recently and the food was appalling the woman who served me had fingernails that had seen better days!! The fish was greasy and I think the chips were from the day before. One...woird dreadful.
