Chunky Diner Wakefield

Chunky Chicken used to be better. I used to call it the best fried chicken in Wakefield. Recently the chicken and chips have become bland and no where near as tasty as they used to be.

Often order from here if not eating in. Food is amazing delivery takes longer than most places but worth the wait :

We are a regular visitors to chunky chicken and whilst I can’t comment on the chicken or delivery, the pizzas are amazing. Fantastic value for money and they cater for all appetites and ages. The staff are great and can’t do enough. The food we’ve ordered is super fresh and not really greasy like some takeaways. Everyone is really helpful and when we’ve sat inside waiting for our order it’s extremely clean and the service is second to none! Highly recommend and well done chunky chicken for a first class service we’ll see you soon x

I placed an order for my daughter to collect on her way home. When we dished the food out i was very disappointed that 1 meal was missing. When I rang to tell them about this the person on the phone couldnt have cared less and I ended up having to drive all the way back to go to collect my meal. Seeing as it was there fault I would have expected a delivery. When I got to the shop the staff were dismissive but gave me some free hotwings . If I wanted hotwings I would have ordered some. This did not compensate for the inconvenience of having to go ll that way again to collect my order. I won't be using them again the food is ok but some of the prices are quite expensive and im sure I can find better elsewhere.

We frequently order from Chunky Chicken and it never fails to impress! The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. We will definitely be returning again soon.
