Gem's Bistro - Wakefield

The baguettes at this restaurant were very disappointing. I was hoping for a delicious, crusty French baguette but instead got a giant hot dog roll.

My toddler and I frequently visit Gems for a coffee (and Babyccino) or a filling lunch. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially towards my young son. They also offer delightful specials. Gems has a welcoming community atmosphere, and we always feel at home when we visit. They provide a high chair for little ones.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic, with very friendly staff and a great selection of foods and drinks. The desserts, especially the toffee apple pudding, are fabulous. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Service very good .food excellent . clean and tidy ...value for money my 14 year old daughter loved it here . I cant wait to take my freinds from the states to this place top marks
