This cafe may be small but its massive on service and the food is outstanding. On a cold winter morning like today I opted for the ham and cheese toastie and tomato soup off the specials board. I’m not sure of the actual price but I worked it out to be about £5. Absolutely beautiful home made soup along with the toastie both filled and warmed me for the day ahead.
Popped into this little cafe for a quick cuppa, ended up with lunch, beautiful! Caring staff very pleasant, will definitely be back when in Yorkshire again. Fabulous decor, fantastic service . Great atmosphere.
Popped in for a cup of tea and a cake while waiting for husband. I asked for the tea in a takeaway cup in case I had to leave sharp, this wasn't an issue and I got coconut jam sponge cake and fruit and nut tiffin to go both were delicious : Husband met me at Jollys so we stayed for lunch and had the special which was a slow cooked pulled pork sub with stuffing and apple sauce, sautéed potatoes and a wee pot of gravy. I've had pulled pork, stuffing, apple sauce subs before from hog roast joints and this was MUCH better, really tasty and just fell apart. The gentleman behind the till took delight in explaining how the pork was slow cooked, the passion for food was lovely to hear. I didn't realise there was more seating upstairs until I went upstairs to the loo, so plenty of seating and good service. Unfortunately I was only passing through or I would be back :
A nice intimate cafe with extra seating upstairs. Table service with a smile. Food choices limited but good and cakes are excellent. Nice to see gluten free menus and not just the cake but bread as well. Dietary requests are happily dealt with. Excellent cuppa.
Fantastic cappuccino, yummy scones and friendly service. Very clean and bright. Obviously has regular clientele and staff on first name terms with some. Small and intimate.
