Just Sandwiches - Wakefield

I visited this restaurant with my partner and kids and was greatly disappointed. I will not be returning. The food was decent except for the unpleasant discovery of a black hair in my sandwich. When I tried to address this issue, I was met with the rudest woman I have ever encountered. The most disappointing aspect was the poor customer service provided by the staff. I cannot speak for the kitchen staff, but the older woman with dark hair who served us was incredibly rude. It is unfortunate that the staff's behavior overshadowed the decent food. I will not be returning and I would advise others not to visit as well. It is a pity.

This is the best food I have ever tasted. The staff was lovely and the customers were friendly. If I could give more than a 10 out of 10, I would. Thank you.

As someone with Coeliac disease, eating out, especially for lunch, can be a bit risky. Today, I forgot my lunch at home and only had 5 minutes to grab something to eat during my break at work. I decided to give this place a try. I couldn't have a sandwich and wasn't in the mood for a jacket potato, so I went for the "deluxe salad" for £2.95 with tuna on top. The salad was fresh and had plenty of tuna, but I finished it in no time. I enjoy salad boxes and think adding some extra ingredients like sweetcorn, beetroot, grapes, etc. would make it even better. Additionally, this place is much cleaner than my usual lunch spot where I once found a couple of hairs in my salad - definitely avoiding that place from now on.

This sandwich shop is nice and friendly, and the sandwiches are always nice and a good for the price!

I come to this sandwich shop two or three times a month depending on when and where I am in Wakefield. Great little gem of a shop, great value and everything is fresh. Never had a problem when ordering, service is quick and efficient and the staff are very friendly and seem happy to be there which creates a nice atmosphere in which to eat a meal. Very large choice of food available although I've found what I like and I've stuck with it but as I see others ordering I'm ever so tempted to try something new. I'll be there again tomorrow ordering the same as I always do and look forward to another value meal that'll keep me topped up till my evening meal.
