When to the captain fish restaurant for breakfast. Instantly felt welcome and the waitress wasn't hovering so we had time to browse through the menu. Fresh cooked to perfection not greasy and a substantial amount. All round quality food at a good price send fantastic service

Sat outside and watched the world go by with a tray of chips and gravy. Decent price and quick service would totally recommend.

Two stars for good service and portion size, however the fish was definitely not fresh, it had a slight taste of ammonia which indicates old fish frozen for too long so not impressed at all as most of it went into the bin.

This restaurant always serves high quality and affordable fish and chips. The portion sizes are generous and the chips are not greasy, which is a plus. My only suggestion would be for the chips to be a bit crispier.
