Old Halfway House Wakefield

I reserved a table through OpenTable for Sunday afternoon at 12:30 on October 9th. However, when I arrived around 12:15, they informed me that they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the confirmation on my phone. It was quite frustrating and time-consuming.

We visited this restaurant twice and found the food to be excellent and the prices very reasonable. However, what truly stands out is the service; the staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond to accommodate you.

I much prefer having food orders taken at the table instead of waiting in line at the bar, especially when there is only one person handling drinks and food orders during a busy lunchtime. While the staff were consistently helpful and polite, there simply weren't enough of them on duty to manage the crowd effectively during peak hours.
