Never open, silly rules owners of sam smith pubs hasn't a clue
Called in for lunch after visiting Nostell Priory. The liver and mash was spot on and the staff were really friendly. They even let my dog run round saying hello to everyone.
Quaint local pub. Sam Smith's beer which is always great value at under £2.00 a pint. Great walking around the area too. Dog friendly...but be warned no swearing or mobile phones tolerated inside (which isn't a bad thing! . Sure to be back again soon!
The Spread Eagle is a very old pub which has changed quite a bit over the years. I haven't been to it for quite a while but I still thought it is a lovely place. It was very busy, even though it was mid week. A good atmosphere and staff welcoming and very attentive. Wasn't quite sure about the menu though, not sure what direction it is trying to go, either pub grub, or al a carte. The meal was good but I thought it too expensive and although Ienjoyed it I doubt very much I would eat there again. Would definitely go for a drink though as its a lovely place.
