Victoria Garden Centre - Wakefield

Eating at this restaurant was a huge letdown. The "ciabatta" bread was actually just regular French bread. My husband ordered a rare cheese dish, but it had a strong smell. It was very disappointing and expensive. The garden center was lovely, but we will not be dining there again.

The ambiance is nice and the food is high quality, but it is quite pricey. We ordered a coffee and cake at the restaurant and had to wait for 20 minutes in line, even though there were only three customers and five workers behind the counter.

I enjoy Victoria as a garden center, but the food leaves much to be desired. The coffee is especially bad! It's definitely a letdown. They really need to improve it, as it's truly awful.

Türkei bap with roast potatoes with so disappointing I wanted to go in the kitchen and show how to cook. If they are a standard of sending cold and dishwasher gravy then it really is sorry youngs they need to be a new...cook service staff great food

Visited Victoria for a Xmas tree today with the family … started queuing at restaurant at 2.05 on Sunday …. On reaching the counter to be told no hot food as kitchen closed ….. lots of families after me very disappointed and left upset. I...appreciate kitchens have to be cleaned and ready for next day …. But they need to put signs up so queuing paying customers can see and make the decision to stay or go …. The assistant was very matter of a fact, kitchen closed at 2.30 unprepared to listen to us explaining we had been queuing since 10 past …. She just carried on looking very flustered …. Cone on Victoria the cafe is a regal part of garden centre visits, book your ideas up and give us the paying customers some help here or guidance , sounds courteous to me
