Bluebird Cafe - Wakefield

The service was quite disappointing. The waitress seemed unhappy and not very attentive. The food was mediocre at best. It appears that their idea of crispy hash and home fries is actually burnt. I also ordered a grilled English muffin, but it arrived soggy instead.

Although there was a slight wait due to the restaurant's limited size and staff, the food was excellent. They did forget one item at first, but they quickly brought it out once I inquired. Overall, the service was great. I would definitely return.

I was really looking forward to trying the chicken waffle benedict. The spicy hollandaise sauce was excellent, but the chicken itself was just average. The overall vibe felt like a casual diner. Our waitress was very friendly, but one of her colleagues appeared to be quite ill, coughing all over the place, which created a bit of a tense atmosphere.

Laura, our server, was friendly, likable, attentive and engaging with a great sense of humor.The biscuit was delectable and my spouse loved the jambalaya hash.A great place to go for a road trip.

Fresh take out at a reasonable price. The hollandaise sauce should be a little less spicy.
