Trattoria Romana Wakefield

I sat at the bar and the food was great, the cocktail sauce could of used a bit more horseradish IMO. I had the Bolognese Paprdell and it was outstanding. I'll certainly go back when I am in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Romana North and was blown away by the food and service. Today, I finally had the chance to try the Trattoria Romana South location in Wakefield, and I'm happy to report that it was equally impressive. The atmosphere at Trattoria Romana South is warm and inviting, with a cozy dining room and romantic lighting. Our server, Jeremy, was attentive and knowledgeable, and he made our dining experience even more enjoyable. To start, we ordered the mussels appetizer special, which was absolutely delicious. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the broth was flavorful and savory. For our main courses, my wife ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I chose the rigatoni al forno. The eggplant Parmesan was massive and perfectly cooked, with a crispy breading and a gooey, melted cheese topping. The rigatoni al forno was also excellent, with perfectly al dente pasta, a rich and flavorful tomato sauce, and homemade meatballs that melted in my mouth. Overall, our dining experience at Trattoria Romana South was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was romantic and inviting. We cannot wait to go back soon!

Just had dinner at Wakefield I always have a great meal there but tonight the Cioppino was awful for $46.95 there was 2 scallops, 2 shrimp and about 20 mussels and watery sauce for the spaghetti and the toast would break your teeth. All 13 of us enjoyed our evening at this establishment. Maureen was wonderful and extremely accommodating. Our server was great as well. It is nice to see employees all working together. It was also nice to see Scott, a childhood friend for many of us, from many years ago. Thanks for being so accommodating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
