Pacific Sourdough - Waldport

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods. The assortment of breads, cakes, cookies, and creamy desserts will tempt you to try a bit of everything. The friendly staff will assist you with your order, and you will leave with a bag full of treats, intending to wait until later to indulge. However, as soon as you sit in your car, the bag is opened and you find yourself sampling each item. It can be challenging to limit how much your kids want to indulge as well.

The desserts were delicious. The restaurant was bustling, which is always a positive indicator. We will definitely return.

This small artisan bakery in Waldport, Oregon is only open three days a week (Thursday-Saturday). Despite the long line to get in, the wait is worth it as it moves quickly and gives you a chance to explore all their delicious offerings including bread, pastries, cookies, and more. We purchased a seeded sourdough batard, rye loaf, mini cheesecake, and a bag of toffee. The bread had a crispy crust and a soft interior, while the cheesecake was not too sweet and had a buttery graham cracker crust. Although the toffee had a slightly burnt taste, the overall experience was so delightful that we are willing to overlook it. We're already looking forward to returning again.

Best bakery ever. From delicious sourdough loafs to almond cakes to cookies to Boursin to so much more. Worth the wait and every penny spent.

My wife and I finally got to experience Pacific Sourdough’s incredible baked goods yesterday after always being a day too early or too late for their Thursday-Saturday schedule. The crew there knows how to move quickly w/o making customers feel rushed. The long line moved quickly. We bought 5 or 6 different items, went immediately to the tailgate of our car and sat, each of us sampling one pastry and trying to stop at one. OMG. In a world where many businesses over promise and under deliver, we were wowed. Today, back home, we’ve enjoyed each bakery item and are thanking the owners and crew for their excellence.
