Our group had a variety of dietary preferences, including vegan, vegetarian, and omnivores, and the restaurant was able to accommodate all of us. We started with a mixed entree that included chicken tikka, delicious samosas, and pakoras with paneer and mixed vegetables. For mains, we enjoyed naans, rice, a vegan eggplant dish, vegan dhal, saag paneer, butter chicken, South Indian prawn curry, and tender goat curry. Everything was perfectly spiced and the heat levels were just right for everyone. We ended our meal with Gulab Jaman, a sweet treat that was the perfect ending to our feast. The prices on the menu were reasonable and you can bring your own alcohol. Don't forget to enjoy a Kingfisher Beer with your meal and savor some of the best Indian cuisine you can find outside of India.
Absolutely amazing food! The rice, of all things, is perfect (not one grain sticks to another) very light and fluffy. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I can't say enough about this place. It is always my first restaurant i go to is always the first for me to recommend.
My Son’s First Birthday Party I had the most wonderful birthday party of my son’s first year, which I hosted on 4th July in Chennai Palace. The service was excellent, value was good and the party hall was cosy and atmospheric with gorgeous light fittings and fixtures. Chennai palace has always been a top favorite of mine one of the reasons being its owners Vasanth and Poongudi, who are really enterprising and accommodative given any circumstance. The food was amazing and having a buffet allowed a taste of everything. I chose the Chicken 65, Kadai paneer and carrot halwa which was divine. All food was prepared afresh with nice level of warmth tasty but not too spicy and just enough to enjoy the full meal. It was the perfect end to an excellent day and I had such a good time/meal/experience, I'm going to give full 5 stars and am already eagerly anticipating my next visit! This place is definitely worth a visit and it certainly won't break the bank!
The best Dosas in Adelaide. So if you love dosas stop reading and head on down to Chennai Palace. We've also tried the beautiful briyanis, naans and curries and they didn't disappoint. Will be back for sure! Service and staff were great and made excellent recommendations.
