The owners and staff Are the most welcoming and genuinely hospitality service oriented as the service is the best and no matter what the issue is they make it right if there is an issue Chips and salsa with the fabulous cabbage style salsa, not found everywhere is fresh and plenty full Prepared served by Ysabel, The best Scratch made margarita this side of Chula Vista made with Casadores, fresh lime juice, aquve syrup, a splash of soda with a generous float of grand Munier liquor! All of the traditional items on the menu are delicious and their specialty item menu will satisfy any taste buds you have for Mexican food. Our favorite is the number 12 with your choice of meats on a taco and enchilada, a tostada and a chili relleno served without rice and beans. Stop in and say hi to the owners Carlos or Juan and of course Ysabel will be happy to serve you, your favorite, Mexican beverage and traditional food Also the Modelo especial Michelada is a refreshing Mexican beverage prepared in a traditional style Thank you for providing Walla Walla with the cleanest, brightest, Mexican, restaurant, with the most experienced and cheeriest staff !!
Walked in, server looked at me and walked to the kitchen. Five minutes later, she emerged and seated me. Ordered a margarita with upgraded tequila...didn 't help as it was not very good. Ordered queso which the menu said was with various peppers...came out as only soupy melted cheese and that was it...also, very, very salty. Asked the waitress who said, That 's the way we serve it. I pointed out the menu description which resulted in no reaction. Decided to cut my losses so I sent back the queso, paid for the margarita even though I drank about 20% and left.
This is such a great place. Excellent service, many menu options a great vibe. Prices are reasonable. Easy access from the freeway too.
Stunning venue with amazing food and friendly staff! It feels very clean and up scale but the prices are fair! We love this place!!
Ok, don't do what I did and forget that Cinco de Mayo tends to be crowded at a family Mexican cuisine restaurant and just show hungry and unprepared. But, thankfully the staff apparently took pity on my tears and seated us immediately. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is colorful and fun. I found the food above average and portioned to require a box for the leftovers. We'll done El Sombrero, I look forward to another visit down the road.
