Gifford Hirlinger - Walla Walla

The winemaker, Mike was so friendly and informative. He was a man show and offered the best service. He was such a pleasure talking to him. His wines were also great! I was a big fan of Malbec and Tempranillo. Such a low-key cooling. Will this definitely go back to a stop on our next trip!

Great tasting experience. Less about adjectives, more about the stories. Unlike most spots, Mike can show on the vines whose wines you drink. You're in the middle.

Really a relaxed time here. Winzer/owner serves tasting, with his father standing next to him and says Papa things. Friendly and friendly, we will be back! The wines were close and balanced with enough variety to please all in the group!

My wife and I visited here on 13. April 2019. The owner served me for my tasting, and he was very friendly, polite, informative, and we both enjoyed chatting him. The tasting room has a pleasant view into its vineyards, but the best part of all were the wines themselves. Gifford Hirlinger makes his craft good. Of the ten wineries I visited this weekend, that was my favorite gift.

Mike and Melissa have done an excellent job crafting an all-around winery experience. The wines are top notch and getting better with every vintage; the hosts are warm, inviting and knowledgeable; and even the architecture of the winery is unique and well-thought out. I highly recommend this as a stop on any Walla Walla winery tour.
