Irv's Bbq - Waller

Food was good and place is clean. Looks like they need more business. Help keep them open. Friendly staff.

The store was clean and very presentable upon walking in. The food and selection was Awsome, when it came to the Customer Service it was Garbage ?. This has been the first time in a while of me visiting there, but I can't say that it's ever been this bad. Upon asking the clerk if the receipt that he through across the counter belonged to me. Well yes isn't this for the meal you just ordered from the back. I said I'm not sure considering you just flung it at me, then he began to laugh. I am not sure what crawled up in his Have A Bad Day but it was not my fault whatever it was.

Been working on Hwy 290 since January 16th of this year and, Irv's had always been closed. Today's April 1 and it's still closed.

Stood there for 10 mins waiting for someone to come to the counter for a bbq sandwich, I asked for a chopped beef, he said all they had was sliced beef. I asked did he have a knife he said no. Lol

A couple years ago, this one of the best burgers around Waller. Not sure what happened, but the quality of food has dropped off considerably. The burger today was dry and not fresh. I had the barbecue chicken plate. I have eaten a ton of barbecue chicken in my day and I cannot figure out what they did to make that bird taste like it did. It was dry, sauce was bad, and the chicken didn't taste like chicken. It was almost like eating canned meat. Very disappointed.
