Gill's Golden Fish Chips - Wallsend

Bad service did not know how to salt viniger fish and chips . Covered fish in salt nothing on chips . Offered large or small with no regular size and staff was worste service ever had 1 out of 10

Very nice chips and a good sized portion of thick and meaty cod. Nice crisp batter. Reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again.

I've been to Gills quite a few times over the last few years. Fish isn't bad but I decided to buy cod bites this time because the last few times the large cod has been very spars, with more batter than fish. The bites were fine, but the chips are awful. They were all scrag ends and not a decent chip amongst them. I'm not going back. I've always highly rated Gills but I'll be looking at other fish shops in wallsend.

Ordered for the first time tonight and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered two chicken nugget kids meals, which were a very generous size. One cheeseburger meal and one chicken burger meal. Both were very tasty and would definitely order again!

Waited 90min for a pizza and kebab meat when it arrived pizza was cold and they had forgotten my kebab meat. Steer!
