Sandai - Walnut Creek

The host was quite helpful and re-seated us re our request. Everything went downhill after that. Service was slow and horrible. Waited and waited to order drinks. Then waited for them to come. Ordered again. We cancelled drinks when they started bringing the food. Had to ask for water refills. Didn’t clean table spills. Bathroom floor was sticky. Food was underwhelming but expensive for what it was. Left with a general feeling of YUCK. We won’t be back.

The staff there was very nice and accommodating. Nora was amazing. She did everything to accommodate our needs.

The food was great, but poor service unfortunately.

A wonderful new seasonal menu. Standout dishes were the Deng Deng Sando (spicy beef with steamed bun, cucumber and pea shoots), prawn mantu and the Ubud cocktail. Service was very good and knowledgeable.

Service was lacking this time around. Drinks took too long only to find out the main ingredient for the drink is out. Servers should be informed of what’s not available. It’s not a big place. Entrees did not get served in a good pace someone in our party did not get served his dish for at least 5 minutes after the rest got theirs.
