Sasa - Walnut Creek

Sasa has a great concept. Asian fusion with sushi. There is food for non-sushi diners. The food is tasty but on the pricier side. The night we were there, they seemed understaffed. Service was slow. The food came out haphazardly. Still worth another try.

Best sushi I've had in awhile. It tasted fresh and melted in my mouth. Every roll was delicious and so was the fatty tuna nigiri. Amazing. Even the popcorn chicken and the heirloom tomato salad were great. Oh, and the truffle edamame. And I don't even really care for that. My 3 year old couldn't stop eating it. Prices were a little steep, but that's Walnut Creek. Service was great, too. Hopefully we can come back again soon.

The food was excellent as usual. Ambiance great. Service was quite lackadaisical, our waiter just did not appear to care.

Good over priced, high seats are super crowded not comfortable at all. Tables so small that did not fit plates. Not comfortable for dining.

Great nite- need better playlist the restaurant. None of us liked the background music.
