Subway - Walnut

The restaurant was fairly clean overall, although the floors could have used a bit of sweeping. However, it was mostly tidy. The reception was excellent; we were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in. The sandwiches were prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. Overall, the experience was fantastic. It’s located in a great spot, and I highly recommend dining here if you’re craving some Subway!

The experience was decent, but there was an overwhelming amount of mayonnaise in my sandwich – it felt like I was eating a mayo sandwich rather than anything else. I stopped by the drive-thru during my lunch break since it was the closest option to my workplace, but I ended up waiting nearly 15 minutes for just one sandwich, three cookies, and a small drink. The cookies were hard, and to top it off, I didn’t even receive a receipt. I wasn't even asked if I wanted one. Unfortunately, this first visit left a bad impression, and I don't think I'll return to this Subway.

I understand that my friend and I arrived at 9:45 PM on a Sunday, but the two employees working were fully aware they had customers—one in the drive-thru and the other knocking on the window. It seemed like they were deliberately ignoring us. If they claim otherwise, they're not being truthful, and I suggest they review the security footage. If your staff isn't willing to work until 10 PM, either close earlier or hire people who will. When you’re on a long drive and search for restaurants that are open, you expect them to actually be open. I get that arriving at 9:55 PM might be pushing it, but being turned away just 15 minutes before closing for a simple cold sandwich seems unreasonable—you’re not a steakhouse.

2nd time I ordered a sub and spent the wee hours head hanging over the toilet, etc. Not going to give it a third time.

The wraps are excellent. I appreciate the consistency across different locations.
