Golden Wattle Cafe Bakery - WALPOLE

The broccoli pie was delicious. Really nice cheddar flavour through the sauce and the cheese layer on top was thin and crispy (not oily like they can be). The chunks of broccoli still had a nice firmness to them. The only component that could have been better was the pastry which was a little soft and undercooked in the bottom, but it still held together well.

Vietnamese homemade braised beef pie is amazing! Please, you have to try this. We bought the last 5 beef pies straight off the shelf. Hardworking people. Service is fast and efficient because it gets busy at peak hours. They will take your order while also preparing coffee or food for another customer, so no time for small chats or smiles. They deserve 5 stars for their delicious food. Visited this bakery again and again during our stay in Walpole. Also, we brought a pie up Mount Lindsey. YUMS.

The staff at this restaurant is dedicated and provides quick service. There is a wide selection of dishes, with most being delicious, especially the egg sandwich, burgers, and Turkish dishes. The bread is also excellent. The only suggestion is that the restaurant could benefit from a fresh new look and updated signage. The dining area appears a bit outdated.

There aren't many options available at this restaurant. I had the full breakfast and coffee, which was delicious. There was also a wide selection of bakery items to choose from. I recommend giving it a try!

I had a coffee and a sandwich at this place. Both were delicious, as were the staff. Unfortunately, they were about to close so I couldn't see the full variety of options available. I don't think you can go wrong here though.
