When I called the restaurant, the manager told me to wait a maximum of 45 minutes, even though the app showed it had already been delivered. The manager, Faisal, then told me to wait another 6-7 minutes. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, I decided to drive to the shop. The manager seemed to not understand that the issue was with the app incorrectly stating my order had been delivered when the driver had not arrived. It appeared that someone had falsely marked it as delivered. The manager offered a refund and promised to make my pizza, despite the fact that it should have been out for delivery with a driver.
Last night, we spent over £30 on two pizzas, sides, and drinks at a Walsall restaurant. Unfortunately, my partner's pizza came with the incorrect sauce, which he refused to eat. The restaurant replaced his pizza, but it took 45 minutes for the new one to arrive. By that time, my pizza had gone cold, and our movie/pizza night was ruined. There was no apology or gesture of goodwill from the restaurant, which I found disappointing considering we had clearly stated our preferences when ordering. It definitely put a damper on what was supposed to be a relaxing evening at home.
I have been ordering from Domino's for years and usually get the same thing. Today, I tried to order a pizza with half of one topping and half of another, but was told this was not allowed. I was confused as to why I couldn't customize my own pizza, especially since I was the one paying for and eating it. It seems like customer service has been lacking at most places during the pandemic, but this experience really stood out. It's frustrating to encounter a situation where I couldn't get what I wanted, despite being a paying customer. It felt like they were not actually serving the public or providing customer service.
Tried pizzas twice here now. Gave it the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. Cheese and tomato pizza had hardly any cheese on and was too tomatoey. The meaty one was not very nice. The potato wedges were hard so we had to leave half of them. The pizza was nearly cold when it came. I've had better pizzas from the frozen section in supermarkets at a fraction of the price.
We use to order here on a regular basis, however we are going less and less. The pizza didn't even look like it was fully done on our last visit. The cheese wasnt melted and to be honest it all seemed a bit mushy. In heinsite we should have checked before leaving. We wont be going back as I feel we have given it a fair try over the past months and nothing is improving. I would rather buy one from the supermarket than pay these prices for a substandard meal.
