The fish and chips came in a box with such a small portion of chips that I could count them on my fingers. The curry sauce, mushy peas, and pitta bread for the kebab were all cold. The kebab itself was also cold and only had about 5-6 slices. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.
I live in the same village as this restaurant, but I typically do not go there because the food has not been good in the past. However, we decided to give it another try last night around 8:30. The chips were overcooked and dry, the kebab was extremely greasy, and overall it was a waste of £8.50. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant and will find another place to spend my money.
We're surrounded by chip shops but will drive to this chippy because it has so much to offer. The pizza's next door are 100% fresh is made right in front of you to your own liking The curry sauce is gorgeous.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and ordered 2 mini fish and chips, which cost a total of £8. The quality was excellent and the golden brown chips were some of the best we've ever had. The fish, despite being labeled as "mini," was surprisingly large and very tasty. We will definitely be returning. The service was good and the restaurant was very clean. The only downside was the parking situation, but the delicious food made it worth parking a little farther away.
Always use village chippy as their fish and chips are the best. Good quality and value for money. Get a good portion sizes and friendly staff.
