Mel's Classic Diner - Walterhill

Good food and good service. I had meatloaf. Very good. Fried okra was excellent. My wife had fried catfish, which was also excellent.

A lot of fun. People were awesome. Catfish and breakfast were great. We'll be back.

Great local dinner. Has the same name as a chain in Cali, but it's not associated. Food was good, the service was good, the prices were reasonable! What more could you ask for.

Spent Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. After hanging out at “The Island” ate here for dinner. The name took me back to my childhood. When we walked in and I saw the souvenir shirts that read “Kiss My Grits” I was so happy. Wife, my youngest Son, and I had Burgers. My oldest daughter had chicken. My youngest daughter had meatloaf. I love this place. It's open till midnight except for on Sundays when they are closed. Great service and really good food.
