The staff were sweet if demoralised, somewhat dishevelled, there was no leadership. Tables were basic in a way that was less rustic and more school dinner . My bread was literally a chopped supermarket baguette (Tesco around the corner... I 'm a level 0 cook but I do a better camembert. Luckily my wife said her food was good, before later gracefully admitting it was a bit shugar . We gave up waiting to be served desert and got the bill, in a restaurant less than half full on Valentine 's. The location is amazing and the decor still good. I can 't really fathom how 's it 's come to such a sorry state.
Very poor food, very basic service, and prices only justified by the café’s wonderful location on the docks. Photo of my food that was barely warm and the avocado tasted exactly as it looks: like plastic. Plenty of places in the area that look much better and can only taste better!
Great day out with my family. This Cafe Rouge has a great location just minutes away from Tower Bridge. Lovely food and service. Definitely it's worth a visit.
Excellent food, service and pricing. Not busy on a Friday morning despite being right across the street from the Tower of London. Hidden gem!
Rarely take time to write reviews, but the rudeness and ignorance experienced today was so bad it was laughable. We are a family of four and after a walk around London, we arrived at Cafe Rouge for some coffee and hot chocolate. We were refused service because all we were ordering was drinks. I was spoken to abruptly and rudely. There are plenty of other businesses in the area to spend your money. Avoid at all costs.
