Dil Tandoori Closed - Waltham Forest

Fast delivery of the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. The way they advertise the items online makes you think that they 're in the business of producing great food, and how very wrong we were. We ordered a mix vegetarian dishes. A veggie Korma a Tikka Paneer Madras. Our sides were Saag aloo, An aubergine dish (what was meant to be) a mushroom bhaji. The Korma was unnaturally sweet and distinctly average. The Tikka Panner was not that at all. If something is advertised as Tikka, it should be marinated accordingly, it was a few chunks of chopped up Paneer cheese, unflavoured and swimming in a nondescript sauce. Then, to boot, all of the sides tasted exactly the same. Flavourless slime. Finally, the Mushroom Bhaji we ordered was not delivered, but was instead replaced with some mushrooms in a vile sauce. Wouldn 't order from here again, even if it was free.

Our food was just oil and salt, nothing else. No other flavour, tasted like vomit....STAY AWAY!! Brought it to the owners attention who refused to help and insisted the food was fine, despite it also being freezing when it arrived. I lived in India for 5 months and know what Indian food should taste like! This definitely isn't it!! If I could give a zero rating, I would. Don't waste your money.

Been using this takeaway for over 10+yrs,and can 't moan about the food. But a few late deliveries, the last straw was having to wait half hour over the agreed time of 1hr (after 10 mins add-on) to be told on the way .then to phone back 15mins later to be then told NEVER RECEIVED ORDER FROM JUST EAT

I've visited Dil Tandoori twice now and haven't been disappointed. The food is delicious and although it can take upto 45mins it's worth it. I live quite close so I get free delivery, plus if you order online you get 20% off which is amazing. The staff members are wonderful, always extremely friendly. Would recommend trying.

Love the food from this take away but for the 3rd week running it has taken well over 90 minutes to be delivered. Thought we would give them a last chance this week and although we ordered at 6 pm at 7.45 pm it had still not been delivered despite saying on just eat that it had been delivered at 7 pm!
