Mak Grillz - Waltham Forest

There was 12 of us that went in; kids and adults. The ambience was great and was empty but we had reserved our table as a little later, its got very busy. We settle down on to the long table for all our family and decided what to order. We had the sticky wings, Mak fries (specialty), Mexican hitman burgers, BBQ Everest burgers and a hot dog as well as the kids meals and chicken grilled. The Hitman burger was amazing, as were the other ones as I was told. The chips that came with the burgers were tasty to. The wings were very nice especially the BBQ one but the Mak Fries was what got me, tasted amazing. All my family loved this place even though a couple of them were against it and then were converted, they loved it. Next time I am here; I'm ordering the STEAK!

Had the sirloin steak with rustic fries, Mushroom sauce, all went down well. Friends had the burgers enjoyed their food too. Just a shame that the only beef steak they do os sirloin. Also no mac cheese on the menu, a little limited on options.

Came here with my family it was so poor. The waitress was extremely rude. When the food arrived it looked good until we tasted it. The burgers were over cooked and tasteless, the chicken wings were dry covered with sauce to camouflage the actual taste of the food. Avoid avoid it looks from the exterior that’s about it.

Probably one of the best burgers I have had and it was so filling, they are a food portion size and the sides are just as good.

Finally visited this place despite it being very local to me. I ordered the peri peri chciken with mash potatoes and it was good and at approximate £8.00, good value. It was a shame that they got my chicken mixed up with one of my friend's order. I had ordered medium spice and my friend had ordered the mild spice (lemon and herb). My other friend ordered the empire burger (beef pattie with chicken rashers) with fries. The portion of fries was generous and I had a bit of the empire burger and it tasted good. My friend was extremely satisfied. Overall, good service and food was good. What more can one want ? Definitely worth a visit and I look forward to going back to have a burger and just to warn you there is a huge choice of burgers.
