I'm a big fan of krogers over Walmart any day of the week but here lately this location has added a bunch of self checkouts, they previously had 6 and would keep 8-12 lanes open. This place was an enjoyable place to shop. But here lately they've been rearranging the store a lot and today I stopped by to grab a few things and they only had 5 lanes open (I counted)and ofcourse all of the self check outs. Now most of us work hard for our money, how do you justify letting people go from there jobs and and shopping in your store and getting impatient waiting in a limited number of lines to end up ringing up their things themselves. I don't understand it. We don't work there! I feel and I'm sure many others feel that our hard earned money is worth having people up front there to scan and bag our goods that we had to meticulously search for cause the store keeps getting moved around! Full service is worth paying for. Here's an idea. Take a survey from the community your store is in and see. Just ask them at the door. And do it for a week! I can't stand Walmart anymore because they drove put alot of cashiers with the self checkouts and now all they usually have is a bunch of slow old ladies working the registers. If this is the path your store is on I'll just have to find a store that cares about their community and respects our hard earned money!!! Now with all that said I will say your location is good about product options, you do beat Walmart there. Understand this about sales though, people like options, they don't like to be forced into things. We Are Not Cattle!
I love this Kroger. They have such a large selection of everything. I was disappointed with the bakery though. I went there to order a cake for a baby shower. There weren't many selections to pick from. I went on and ordered one although it was pretty generic looking. I guess I was expecting some really cute cake decorations as the rest of the store has such a variety. I just hope it tastes good.
Great store. Click list is a wonderful idea but still needs help with proper execution months later. Please Kroger, hire more employees for peak hours. Use analytics to figure out which hours are peak for grocery pick up, and have enough personal on hand to accomplish the loading task in timely manor. Would be a nice goal to set start to finish times of 5 minutes or less. It should not take 45 mins to an hour to receive a click list order. Once this issue is resolve it will be a perfect 5 Star store.
Dailey fresh bread and good place for birthday cakes.
