Rock Creek Campground - Walton

Rock Creek offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The cabins are charming, and the lodge rooms are particularly cozy. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The pool and whirlpool area serves as a fantastic gathering spot for fellow campers, complete with options for appetizers and drinks.

Very funny. 35 minutes from Charleston WV on a beautiful crest up in the forest. Heated pool two hot tubs bar playgrounds age 21 and above. Inside the upper floor bar dance floor. U can camp, lodge, or they have two or three cabin sizes. Dinner last night was excellent. Appropriate prices. Playground outdoors. Hiking. Large private property. I often go there. Great for a day trip from Charleston WV

This was my first outing since my partner passed away a year ago, and I must say, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The owners were fantastic, and I truly had a wonderful time. I'm definitely planning to return, perhaps even becoming a seasonal member. It was absolutely worth the trip, no matter where you're coming from. The regulars were intriguing and delightful, making the experience even more enjoyable. It happened to be "Magician of Oz" weekend, so there was a captivating show along with Miss Rock Creek present.

I just learned about this place and I'm curious to see what it's like, which is why I'm giving it only one star for now. I hope to visit soon, but I don't expect it to be enjoyable for myself.
