I was quite surprised to find a barber on the premises, and the table positioned right in front of the door was inconvenient for people in wheelchairs and others trying to access the entrance. However, aside from that, the food was excellent, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable.
It’s definitely a family-friendly spot, featuring a playground outside and even a changing station for babies! A children's menu is available, but keep in mind that on Fridays and Saturdays, they don’t allow anyone under 18, so don’t forget that rule. The food is quite decent. You can’t complain about £6 for a roast and £5 on Monday nights. There’s a wide selection of drinks too. The service is good; like at any pub, you place your order at the bar. The decor is simple, yet the atmosphere is cozy, and it's conveniently located not far from the river and the city center. Don’t miss the sign at the entrance to the pub, it’s quite amusing!
That's like the only classic pub around the opposite, just what they want, nothing crazy or pretentious! super party yesterday and the perfect result! thomas marcus
