Stinking hot day in Wanaka 30 degrees . The only pub of the 3 I went to , to have good air con . Good service and a clean bar. The meals were expensive but got a special on burgers and chips . That was 14 dollars and well worth it . Recommend this bar

Fantastic service. Patient barman that waited while I mucked about making up my mind. Good simple food. Not too much to choose from which was great. Hubby had the steak and ale pie with seasonal veg. I had the rib eye with seasonal veg. The steak and pie were gorgeous but the veg! Hubby doesnt generally like veg but he just couldnt get enough. Plenty of sports to watch if you're that way inclined. Music in the background but still very easy to have a nice conversation. Loved the atmosphere and casual setting. Thanks for a great visit.

Good place to have a early laugh with your friends. Later is more an oldest people bar

Nice clean pub with good staff went on a Saturday and place was quite so really good if you want to get away from the main crowd
