Firebird - Wanaka

First time I try something like this and omg I would recommand to try it!!! Go there with an empty stomach because it is really yummy and it gets you completely fool haha Be aware that if you want to try the tender on the side that it is actually the same one that's inside the burger so it is not necessary and not something different to try.

Contrary to the previous reviews here, the portobello mushroom burg is nowhere to be found. Instead, they have a Vegan Firebird, a plant-based version of what I assume is their signature burg, and it is excellent. If you like spice, look no further. You can also get vegan wings as a side or as a main with chips and slaw. Good stuff surrounded by other food trucks with more vegan options! Wanaka delivering the goods, for real, no cap.

They only have the vegan chicken burger available or you can also buy the vegan chicken pieces. Fries are good. But the vegan chicken is really good, I loved it. They know how to do it.

We tried fried chicken with medium hot and the spicy fries. Fried chicken is so tasty and juicy, and the quantity of fries is fair.
