Feedback gevenThis is the best Indian restaurant we have tried in Balham Tooting. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We recommend ordering directly from the restaurant instead of using food delivery apps like Deliveroo. We have tried many other restaurants in the area, but this one surpassed them all. We highly recommend it for a perfect night in.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service is extremely slow and unreliable. Their website no longer recognizes our address, and when I called to order, I was left on hold indefinitely. I ended up using DELIVEROO, which promised a meal in 50-60 minutes. However, it took 120 minutes for the food to arrive, despite multiple assurances that it was ready. I requested a refund, which was refused. While the food was good, the inconsistent service and long wait time have caused me to end my relationship with this restaurant. There are plenty of other dining options available that are more reliable and less stressful.
5 stars earned due to the exceptional service of one waitress in particular! Ritu is always so attentive and friendly, she always makes my night a good one! Would definitely recommend coming here for good drinks and wonderful customer service!
After a long wait, my food finally arrived... but it was the wrong main dish. When I called to inquire about my order, I spoke to a very apathetic and unapologetic person. She reluctantly offered to bring the correct main dish at no extra charge, but by then the rest of my meal had gone cold... (thanks a lot!). It's a shame because I have been ordering from this restaurant for years. To make matters worse, they asked for the incorrect dish to be returned! Absolutely ridiculous! I understand that mistakes happen, but at least take responsibility for your incompetence.
I have now ordered from here 5-6 times and the food is consistently excellent. A bit more expensive than most but the quality of the food just about justifies it. However, the delivery time can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes and calling the restaurant for an update only results in a rude fob-off from someone who enjoys hanging up the phone more than managing customers satisfaction. Even on the one occasion that the order was wrong, they didn’t seem to care at all. Even though the food is very good I’m unlikely to use them again. With so much competition in the Tooting Indian takeaway market, I don’t see the need to support a rude business who doesn’t value repeat business and can’t organise a reliable delivery service.
