Pizza Express - Wandsworth

I received a vegan pizza with a large piece of chicken on it so won’t be visiting again.

The team at Pizza Express Putney is amazing. Not only do they serve some of the best pizzas in town, but the service is always excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. We frequently order takeaways for large group meetings at our offices, and the team is always incredibly helpful, efficient, and punctual. Overall, I highly recommend Pizza Express to anyone who appreciates delicious food and exceptional service!

We took our 9 year olds here for an early dinner. Although they were fully booked, the friendly manager promised to find us a table and did on arrival. The kids menu is great value £7.25) and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely go again.

The manager saw fit to make sure all her Deliveroo orders were fulfilled on time to the detriment of the dining-in customers. We waited over an hour for any food. The dough balls got burnt and had to be recooked, the pizza took an hour to be prepared. My husband is a type one diabetic and had taken his insulin so we were skating on thin ice with such a long wait. Other diners were asking where the food was too. The waiting staff were left to apologise for the failure of the manager who seemed unaware that she ran a restaurant! Pizza Express is usually such a charming and lively place to visit, I am afraid Putney is tired and lacking the usual high standards and ambience.

This was the best pizza I have ever had, Chef Beshoy is amazing! Thank you for the wonderful pizza. The service from the waitress was also excellent.
