Ocean Fisheries - Wanganui

The fish and chips here are fantastic! I really appreciated that they didn't require masks, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. This place has become a favorite for us whenever we’re in Wanganui. I can't speak highly enough about their fish and chips – they are truly delicious!

I recently visited the main train station in Whanganui, hoping to indulge in some delicious fish and chips. To my delight, I discovered Ocean Fishing. It felt like heaven had answered my cravings! I must say, I enjoyed what is undoubtedly the best deep-fried fish in all of Whanganui. On top of that, the professionalism of the staff deserves a perfect 5-star rating. Well done!

Omg.if only I could give a 10/10 review. That's the best since Okato. The oil was fresh, no cross-contamination. Batter was beautiful, chips amazing, well seasoned. I could have done more! A brilliant meal would be highly recommended. I'm back.

I brought the seafood plate and was a little insecure from the price first, once at home and unwrapping it, I was hit with the beautiful smell of clean (oil), fresh seafood and very filling, so it was worth it. Now it's my new dinner for me while the kids have boring pizza.

We purchased some fresh fish, and it was delightful and really fresh. The portions were a good size, and the prices were comparable to local grocery stores. The service was polite and friendly. We haven't tried their fish and chips yet.
