Old Country Deli - Wantagh

Apparently, this deli has no intention of staying in business. This is the first time I ever walked into this kind of establishment and the trays behind the counter were COMPLETELY EMPTY!Could not even order a simple tuna salad on roll. Whoever the owners may be, they should consider doing something else for a living. A complete and utter disgrace. If you can't do better than this, do your customers a favor and close your doors now.

I have been to Park Ave Deli on numerous occasions. The food is of the highest quality hot or cold. The staff Jhon the manager and Shelly couldn't be more accommodating. Very clean store. You can see that they take pride in what they are doing. Do not hesitate to use this Deli you definitely will not disappointed. It's a WINNER !!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! I can barely type this review because I am shaking! I am furious and was scared of being attacked by the man behind the counter. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and asked for it to be on a hot toasted roll. I asked if it already had salt pepper and he said it already had it. He asked if I wanted anything in my sandwich and I said no, just the chicken salad. What I got was a friend chicken cutlet on a toasted roll. I wish it was just that. It started with me being so thirsty that I opened my soda before driving away. It was flat! I went back and asked to exchange it. He said okay. That was flat too. I was so thirsty that I looked for another that I normally don 't drink. Expired too. Then I saw my sandwich. I went back and asked for my money back. He yelled and who is going to pay for my food? I told him that I was not risking another order in case he had expired Mayo or any other ingredients. He didn 't want to give me my money back! I started to take the sodas from his fridge because I take pictures of his expired items. He told me to take my money and to get the f out of there. He said I was pissing me off. He called me an effing b and told me to never effing come back. As if I would! I normally support local businesses. Not this one! DO NOT GO TO THE PARK AVE DELI CATERERS unless you want stale drinks and food!

The people seem to be nice, and the food I ordered very good. Small local deli. My issue was that the three times I visited within ten days for the same two very common items I was charged $9.50, $10.04, and then $9.28. They need to get their pricing together. If I return and get a different price, I'm done.

New favorite deli in wantagh. Amazing service and sandwiches. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tons of delicious options at great prices. We got The Gasm which was definitely accurately named! We will be back.... NEVER DISAPPOINTS
