So this is the first time I have ever tried Casa Ortega and even though I ordered takeout everything was so fresh and delicious! I will definitely be coming back to dine in and try some of the other items on the menu. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BIRRA BURRITO WOW PERFECT!
Good drinks, great server. But they put my friends meat tacos on the same plate as my vegetarian tacos. Which you’d think by default you’d never put meat near someone’s vegetarian dish. To top it off I’m vegan so I had said no queso on anything as well. So my friends queso fell onto my tacos too. It was a waste of money for me cause I know if I asked them to take it back (which I’d typically never do) they would have just put the same tacos on a separate plate, which still had pieces of my friends meat and cheese on them.I understand this is not a vegan place but it’s 2023. Got to be able to cater to everyone’s dietary restrictions with even just one dish, at the least. Also $7 for a shot of Milagro is wild, a whole bottle is $30.
The best oaxacan/Mexican food I have ever had in this area or maybe ever. I could eat this everyday and never get sick of it. I have went for brunch and also dinner and every time it's so amazing. The drinks are so good too!!! You have to go
Just average food, with just average service. Parking is okay but not great. Drinks were good. Prices are average. Nice neighborhood restaurant that has much potential. Atmosphere is nice but could be better.
