Silvia's - Warehouse Point

I went to the Holiday dance at Ballroom Fever on Saturday night, and it was catered by Silvia’s Restaurant. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I had planned to attend the Sunday Brunch, but I enjoyed the dinner so much that I decided to skip it. Silvia’s Restaurant is truly a gem in Enfield. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the “Chef of the Year” award for Connecticut, which was impressive, but oddly enough, the restaurant was quite empty. Nevertheless, the food was exceptional and the prices were a fantastic value for the quality I experienced. I even enjoyed my leftovers for lunch the next day, and I can eat a lot! My only question is: why is this place so empty? Do people in Enfield really think that Denny’s is the best dining choice around?

During our initial visit, the atmosphere was quite calm, with only 16 other diners present, including a group of eight, a group of six, and a couple. One gentleman from the larger group, an engineer from Hamilton, mentioned that he travels frequently for work and remarked that his recent meal was the best he had ever experienced. When I asked for his recommendation, he advised us to "Let Silvia take care of the selections," and we did just that. Silvia prepared the most amazing meal we've ever had, showcasing a wonderful variety of Eastern European dishes that kept coming. Since that first visit, we've returned several times with friends, all of whom have praised the restaurant. The prices are incredibly reasonable. For a group of eight, we enjoyed three bottles of wine, several appetizers, soup, salad, three family-style main courses, vegetables, and coffee—all for just $330 plus tip. Given the quality and portion sizes, the bill should have easily been twice as much. Believe me, this place is a hidden treasure!
