They have an amazing menu that covers all the bases like crab, shrimp, scallops, oysters, octopus and that was just in my ceviche. I had food envy for every plate I saw come out of the kitchen. They have my favorite thick crunchy chips not the bagged ones and amazing guacamole. The chips also come with a red salsa, a whitefish salsa and the green salsa that you better make sure to have your drink before trying it. Margaritas are very tasty and they have many other drink options. The paella is huge and was covered in seafood. That will be my next purchase. Most of the meals I saw would be good for a couple more when you get home. It's an unassuming place on 38th St. But don't pass it by! Also if you don't pay attention and leave your phone like I did they'll take good care of it for you. Thanks to staff for their help!!
This place never fails to amaze. A hole in the wall with amazing seafood options. Ambiance: MehFood: Fantastic generousDrinks: Strong delishService: Great friendlyThe sheer amount of seafood dishes available here, it's heaven for any seafood lover. Think various fish, oysters, squid, octopus, clams, shrimp, langostinos, crab and such. The portions are quite large here, so unless you have a huge appetite, you will be taking leftovers home with you.You are greeted with chips and 3 dips/salsas. The red is a typical tomato based salsa, then there is the hell fire hot green stuff and a delicious white fish with pico which turns out to be my favorite. No idea what the proper namnes are, just know it's all good.I ordered a large guacamole and must say it is delicious. We ate every bit of it. Snarfed it up actually. It's hard to find really good guac, but here it is.I am not real adventurous when it comes to seafood and generally stick to shrimp or maybe a little crab. Still oodles of dishes to choose from, which makes it hard to decide. I ended up with Camarones Coras and I am hooked on that dish now. The shrimp are tail on and done to perfection. The sauce is the star of this dish. Tomato-based broth with a bit of a lemony tang... Beautiful. Served with white rice which is perfect for this sauce. This will be my go-to for this restaurant. The paella was deemed delicious by my guests. Actually I didn't hear anybody complain and that is a miracle in itself, especially when I drag a larger group with me. The entrance faces 38th Street and is a bit unassuming. Parking on the East and back of building.
This place is a real hidden gem. Menu is very seafood centric and they do it very well. Super authentic to the point where they seemed kind of surprised that I didn't speak Spanish. Super awesome service, reasonably priced definitely worth checking out!
Order 2 orders and only got one. Had to order again had to pay for delivery and tip twice.
Best tostada loca around! Don't forget the Michalada! One of the spots I crave! The tostada is smothered with ceviche guac. The michalada is the perfect mix of beer clamata! Highly highly recommend!
