Feedback gevenWould appear to be a nice atmosphere. Tried to eat at this establishment A couple of times during a recent stay. One time they said it was to late at night to order food which is understandable (although all those around us were eating). We were told togo back to our rooms and order room service? Second attempt was a breakfast, could not get seated. Waited and waited no luck.Establishment was almost empty but told no open tables for a few more minutes. Ended up leaving.
Food was delicious each time I ate there (3× but the breakfast and dinner service was really slow (esp dinner , but our lunch server, Sidone, was really awesome and attentive! My fave server by far! And she gave us great food recommendations! Forbreakfast I ordered the French toast, lunch I had the Prime Burger (and added a fried egg with steak fries and dinner I had thehalf honey glazed salmon with the beets salad. I would highly recommend all those dishes!
In a word, yum . I ordered the half turkey club which was served with cole slaw and sweet potato fries. The only sweet potato I have ever had interest in is pie, until now. I don 't know if there is a special seasoning they use for the fries or what. All Iknow is that I love 'em, I love 'em; I want more of 'em. This little happy meal is adequately proportioned and adequatelypriced. While all of the staff were attentive and friendly, Samantha at the bar and Lori are the employees that stood outmost. If you are looking for a new experience, take a closer look at Nourish inside the Westin Hotel on Washington Street inIndianapolis. You will not be disappointed. Bon Appetite!
This is the new name of the previous Shula's restaurant at Westin Indianapolis. The decor is exactly what it was for the previous restaurant and does not remotely convey what one would expect for a contemporary restaurant. The service was lackingand we had to wait multiple times for the server to return to the table. It would have been expected if it were busy, but therewere only two other tables that had customers at the time and each had their own server. There were only three of us, but ratherthan put us at a booth or 4 top, were were placed at two separate 2 tops, which made conversing and sharing the appetizers quitedifficult. The food was nothing I'd ever want to order again. I had gotten a burger that was ordered medium rare, and it camerare to rare/blue and was a complete salt bomb. There was not enough water on the table to take away the burn caused by theoverpowering salt content. The steak fries accompanying the burger were just the opposite in seasoning, but were the same in thefact they were quite undercooked. The egg that was added to the burger was also well overcooked. The other dishes ordered at thetable were just as poor from what was described from the ones who ordered them.
Service? Started out very poorly, the door guy seemed lost and spoke little english, we decided to sit in the bar (it was lunch) and waited an extremely long time for lunch. Food? It was excellent, the burger was one of the best Ive ever had, it was leanbut very tender. Salad wedge had generous portions of real blue cheese, and the calamari was cooked with a crisp crunchy outerlayer while juicy inside. When it came time for the bill the manager said “don’t worry we got it” due to it taking solong, I never expect fast service when I go to a nicer restaurant in fact I prefer to wait longer so the fact they didn’tcharge me was extremely classy.
