I 've read the negative reviews, especially from the 'opening weeks ' 8 or 9 months ago. I 'm glad that the Flood Valley Taphouse has weathered that storm. We 've been twice in the last 5 weeks, and both times have been really good. I 'm not quick to write a 5 star review (neither is my wife), but here 's the straight scoop! The burgers are amazing. Again, we 've been twice, and ordered 3 different burgers (Bison Melt, Bacon Your Pardon and Peanut Butter Burger). They were all huge and delicious! Well seasoned burgers. I would order any of the three again. The bacon wrapped jalapeños are awesome. I wish I had taken a photo. Next time. We 've ordered them both times we 've been. But the shining star is probably the Garlic Parmesan Hash Puppies. These are like fritters six loaded garlic parmesan and potato croquets served with garlic aioli. These are really fantastic! Most of the burgers are served on pretzel buns, which are really good. There 's a good beer selection on tap, and they also serve wine. The outside is unassuming, and they 're working on updating the inside. But don 't let that dissuade you the food and service (we had Josh yesterday) are excellent!

Food was petty good. Kinda spendy I got two different IPA's and they were flat!! Straight beer water thought it was just the keg! But the second one was flat also!! Said something to the waitress and she told me its been going on for a while. Charged me $7 a piece for flat beer. The waitress was very friendly and checked on my table often. Staff is the reason I didn't leave a 1 star review

I stayed at the shilo inn, and walked next door to the tap house to find it permanently closed!

Great burger selection as well as variety of beers. Also wine. The burger I had was excellent with fresh lettuce and tomato. Fresh bun as well. Loved the sweet potato fries. Had a glimpse of their nachos on the way out. Know what my next order will include. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
