Tj Smith's Restaurant Bar - Warrington

I had the 6oz filet. I don't hesitate paying money for a good filet. This was a $40 filet and it was terrible. Asked for it medium, got it rare in the very center, and well 3/4 the way out. Not sure how they cooked that.

Chill Hangout Spot: Even though it's not exactly my scene, this classy bar has a vibe perfect for date night, wine with friends, or celebrating big deals with colleagues. I'm more of dive bar fan myself. However this is a nice place. Mild Buzz Adventure: Tried five shots, and surprisingly, I felt sober while the others in my group were feeling the buzz. I guess I'm just wired differently! Budget Check: Coming from West Virginia, the drinks seemed a bit pricey, but it might be reasonable for folks in the area. Happy Vibes for Tummies: Didn't get a taste of the food, but everyone seemed happy with their plates. Usually go here for their happy hour Monday through Friday. Great apps and drink specials. Bartenders have been great and Jen is the manager is great!

Update October 2023: they were accommodating, food was good, service was excellent. Prices seem reasonable in this new economy. 5 stars. Old review: Long wait for tables, even as tables emptied out and and were cleaned, still had to go out wait a long time while they sat empty. Food was good, server was good. But treatment by host (or manager, not sure) was not welcoming nor accommodating, and I wouldn't rush back, knowing that there are many other options close by.

Never had a bad meal at TJ's. Hot fresh and the staff is attentive and friendly.
