Great local pub with good atmosphere. Variety of food on the menu just missing the Chicken Tikka Masala (a favourite oldie). I would recommend reserving a table as generally busy. Plenty of parking. Staff generally helpful chatty Gary, Kat Linzi however someone needs to communicate with the arrogant boy chewing gum behind the bar it is not great for customers to see.
My wife, 92-year-old mother-in-law, and I recently had a late lunch at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, but the food was disappointing. My wife's pie and chips were acceptable, but my cheeseburger and chips were bland and uninspiring. My mother-in-law's sausage and mash was revolting, with grey, reheated mash and cheap sausages. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to this local pub.
Came with some friends for some food and stayed for drinks afterwards before going into town, good lively atmosphere with a lot of people in the pub, but despite that service was quick. I had a lovely Cajun chicken which had a nice kick to it. Props to the bar staff for their speed making quality pints, especially a young lady named Keira, who poured and brought our mobile drink orders over almost instantly. Decent price for a pub so all in all will come again soon
Food was great as always, however lady behind the bar with blonde hair in ponytail was very rude and needs to learn some manners, and comes across as very arrogant and rude towards the customers.
