Central Steak House - Warrnambool

Eating is quite tasty, and the portion sizes are amazing, but the waiting time and the prices are not the best.

Ribeye was delicious but fries were too salty. If you are on a low salt diet, ask the staff not to add salt into the fries.

The BEST scotch fillet my partner EVER ate! He only eats steak when we go out so had high expectations for a Steakhouse and he was not disappointed. The steak was a very generous size and cooked to perfection (medium rare). The gorgonzola sauce was phenomenal! Obsessed with it now. The vegies were nice, particularly the potatoes, they were delicious. What impressed us also is they are the only place we've ever been that had hot english mustard and actually gave the right amount (other places dollop waaayyy too much). Gentleman that served us was very friendly, thank-you. The venue is simple (under the motel) but well worth the visit.

Pretty good meal. Steak was good size and quality, though came medium not medium rare.....as is usual except in the best restaurants. Had the surf and turf, prawns were OK but like the steak a little overcooked and thus a bit soft. Veg and sauce were fine but not exceptional considering the price.

We love this place. Great hosts and fantastic steaks and pasta 10/10
