Great coffee, greater pies and even greater service. Not to be missed. Centrally located with very easy access (on-street, off-street parking available) and real country-friendly staff.

We had fresh chicken salad rolls for lunch. They were so nice we went back in the morning to grab more for breakfast on our way out of town. Fresh holiday food!

Only place we found open Easter Saturday afternoon. they were charging a public holiday surcharge. Expensive coffee and cake! Had to ask for a breakdown as I couldn't believe what I heard. $8 for cake! Fortunately it was nice cake. They also had lunch items.

We had a risotto slice and a cottage pie; both with chips and salad. Surprisingly, the salad was more that just a few lettuce leaves. We were served a well balanced meal. The tea was made from good quality loose leaf tea, not the usual teabag junk. We ordered fruit salad and we were served with freshly made good quality fruit. Service was quick, very friendly. Staff was knowledgeable, went out of their way to accommodate special requests.

Not a bad spot to drop in for a quick milkshake and a bit of snotblock to get you through your afternoon. Interior dec harks back to a bygone era, as does the old fashioned service.
