Shiraya - Warrnambool

What a great place! Best lunch in Warrnambool. Spent three weeks there, and kept coming back to this wonderful restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service and you appricate the history behind the restaurant. Top-notch!

Having eaten at Saki in Brisbane the cuisine of Japan was not a favorite until dining at Myumi's cafe in Warrnambool and becoming a convert. The chicken teriyaki and gyoza are outstanding. Prices are surprisingly cheap, the meals extremely filling with friendly smiling service in the kitchen as well as front of house. A wonderful addition to the dining scene of Warrnambool

If you love Japanese food, then be sure to visit Shiraya. It is a favorite place to grab take-away lunch, and we choose something different every time. We have never been disappointed. Dine in and you get to experience the very kitsch look of the seating, and the gorgeous lamps that adorn the eating area.

Beautiful sushi - takeaway or sit in and some special meals throughout the week to enjoy. Happy smiles behind the counter and in the kitchen.

Not too many choices for good sushi in Warrnambool so they have the market covered. Good selection of sushi rolls and a quaint seating area if you wish, although they mostly do takeaway. If you're used to the competitive sushi prices in Melbourne this place will seem expensive, but the sushi is fresh and tasty with plenty of choices.
