School Lane Fish And Chip Shop

We frequently visit this restaurant on Saturdays for their delicious fish and chips, and it never disappoints. The staff members are welcoming and courteous, always with a smile on their faces, making us feel valued. Although it's a small establishment, it can get quite crowded, requiring us to wait outside at times. However, the wait is always short. We have sampled various fish and chip shops in Kenilworth, and this one remains our top choice.

Superb meal we had cod, haddock, sausage, kebab, chips etc. Great portion size and value. Staff very friendly thoroughly recommend

Have been a customer of this chippy for over 40 years. Lou and his wife used to run a tight ship and the fish and chips were always of the highest quality, consistent and dependable. No other chippy could hold a candle to this establishment. Unfortunately it has fallen apart since Lou left. Called in the other evening for cod and chips. The fish itself was a very small portion and both the fish and the batter were overcooked. The chips were no better. Need to find somewhere else to go...

Not impressed with the ridiculously small amount of chicken in my chicken kebab! Can’t fault the chips though not much of a consolation !

Did an online order paid for. On collection they had no detail of the order or payment so nothing ready on pick up time. Waited outside in the rain for 15 minutes. The whole meal was very poor, large cod was small, chips were cold, Spring roll was soggy and full of soft batter inside and didn’t receive the mushy peas paid for. Expensive meal in the bin fish alone was £9.95. Won’t be going back after this time.
